Let me introduce myself
Hello, my name is Emma England and I work with anyone wanting to declutter their home. With over 25 years experience as an NHS Physiotherapist I am used to working closely with clients, quickly building a fun and trusting working relationship. Through my decluttering business I seek to understand each persons unique preferences and needs for each job and together we create an organized and peaceful space. I find solutions that create transformation. I take a compassionate and supportive approach to make decluttering a positive and empowering experience, passing on techniques to enable each client to make changes that last.
It all began...
with a friend who needed help. Being swamped with belongings but only having a small space eventually became a very stressful place for her. Together we talked about what it would take to get her home back in ship shape fashion and gradually we started addressing one small zone at a time. I used my years of experience working with people, setting small realistic goals and supporting and encouraging her along the way. During and after every session there was joy at seeing her home reappear as a calm, organised space and my friends peace and energy returning. I found so much joy in helping her that it turned into a business!

Testimonials
Moving Day
Emma helped us on move day, unpacking and organising my kitchen. We downsized from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom flat. Then she returned after a few weeks and helped me declutter my clothes, shoes, games and bags. She took all the bits to our chosen charity shops and furniture charities. She even put up some pictures and small shelves for us. With less stuff, it really is easier to think and move around. Emma was thoughtful, patient and had lots of helpful suggestions for storage solutions.

50 Years of belongings
Following knee surgery my mum needed to move from the house she'd occupied for over 50 years to retirement accommodation. We engaged Emma's services to work with mum on all the rooms she lived in. Emma did this with sensitivity and efficiency, helping mum to identify the items she really needed but also those most precious to her. Emma also transported a considerable amount of items to the charity shops for us. Emma's support has been invaluable and worth every penny, not just on a practical basis but also giving us emotional support. This freed my brother and myself to concentrate on other parts of the house and alleviate the stress of having to work to a tight deadline. It has made organising and executing the house move much easier.

My whole home needed help
Emma has been fantastic over the last few weeks. I used to dread the idea of going home, once I got there I just couldn't move because of all the stuff. She has helped me make decisions about what to keep and how to prevent the build-up accumulating.
We've sorted my wardrobe, hall cupboard, living room, hall way and kitchen. It's a work in progress and I love it! I'm beginning to get my home back.

Wardrobes and the Garage
Decluttering is just what I needed - been putting it off for ages. We tackled my wardrobes and then the garage which hadn't been touched for years. Now I can see where everything is and get to everything first time! Wonderful. Thank you Emma.

We decluttered the loft, shed and all my rooms ready to market my house
Having lived nearly 40 years in the same house, I decided to use Emma's decluttering service Sanctuary Decluttering, to help me clear out unwanted items before putting the house on the market. Emma is strong, capable and cheerful and inspires you with confidence. Using an excellent fold-up ladder which enabled her to access the loft safely and easily, she moved everything down so that I could decide what or what not to keep. Emma took many clothes, books and other items in her car to charity shops, the rest she put in the garage ready for house clearance. We also decluttered the kitchen and bedrooms and some items from the living room.
It is not always easy to decide what to throw away and Emma was encouraging but in a sensitive way, understanding that it is sometimes hard to let things go. I would definitely recommend Emma to anyone who wants to declutter.
